Jessopp Back In The Points After Oulton. Martin Jessopp was pleased to be back point scoring after the most recent BSB round at Oulton Park.

Martin explained "We had a good qualifying session with a place of 17th – things are so much faster this year as the equivalent time in 2014 would have seen me in 8th!

However we had to endure a 6grid penalty after we declared a new gearbox, this meant I started in 23rd.

First race I made up 9 positions from 23rd and was feeling really positive but with half a dozen laps to go I had the worse arm pump have ever experienced.  I can only think this was due to me wearing different leathers, I was really struggling so dropped back to 16th, just one place off a point.

Race 2 had a good start, made way up on first lap and thanks to the different leathers the arm pump didn't return I continued to make my up through field and secured a few points. It was a very tight field as I was only 5 seconds off 6th place

I feel we are now back in the ball park of where we need to be to score points.

Next on the calendar is the North West 200, pleased that I am up to speed and feeling very confident, the team is working hard and we still making improvements, the pace is showing that.
